Bacon Cheeseburger Quiche

From the Kitchen of Steph Hauser of Camden, Tennessee

  • 1/2 to 1/4 Lb. Ground Beef

  • 1/2 Cup Onion, Chopped

  • 1 Cup Mayo

  • 1/2 Cup Milk

  • 9″ Unbaked Deep Dish Pie Shell

  • 2 to 3 Tbsp. Cooked Bacon Pieces, Crumbled

  • 1 Tbsp. Corn Starch

  • 2 Eggs

  • 2 Cups Cheddar Cheese, Shredded

Preheat oven to 400ºF. In pan, brown the ground beef. Drain the meat and place in a bowl with onions and bacon pieces.  In a bowl, combine mayo, milk, corn starch, and eggs, mixing until smooth. Pour mixture over the meat and onions, and stir to combine.  Pour mixture into pie shell. Top with shredded cheese. Place quiche in the oven and bake for about 10 minutes or until the center starts to set. Turn the temperature down to 350ºF, and let it bake for another 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center. Let the quiche set for about 15 minutes before cutting.
