Fried Pies

From the Kitchen of Kathy Lingle of Metropolis, Illinois

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Egg

  • 1/2 Cup Sugar

  • 1/2 Cup Canned Milk

  • 1 Tsp. Baking Powder

  • Dash of Salt

  • All Purpose Flour

INSTRUCTIONS

Mix together the egg, sugar, milk, baking powder, salt, and enough flour for the dough to be work-able. Once well combined, place the dough in the refridgerator to chill over night. Roll a small portion of dough out on a mat and cut to the size of a saucer. Fill dough with your favorite pie filling. Fold the dough in half over the filling and seal edges with a fork. Deep fry your pies until golden brown.
